We’re two communication students who share a deep love for the city of Ypres, not just its past, but its present and future.
During our studies, we noticed how often Ypres is framed solely by its wartime history. While that history matters, there’s so much more unfolding in the streets, studios, cafés, and minds of the people who live here today.
That’s where YPR was born: a subbrand of Ypres that focuses on the living city. We shine a light on the vibrant culture, the hidden gems, the bold entrepreneurs, the local makers, and the creative pulse that defines modern-day Ypres.
Through stories, visuals, maps and curated tips, we want to help both locals and visitors discover the side of the city that often goes unnoticed — a Ypres that’s dynamic, young, and very much alive.
